We will start this day very early to have an Amazon adventure in the Tambopata ecological reserve. Very early in our motor boat, we will go to a clay lick of macaws, parrots and parakeets; this place has a very interesting concentration of parakeets, parrots and macaws, which can be observed eating clay; which helps them to neutralize the toxins of their daily diet (diet of fruits and seeds). Some of the participating birds are: the yellow-crowned parrot, the blue-headed parrot, the chestnut-fronted macaw, the dusky-headed parakeet, the red-bellied macaw, the cobalt-winged parakeet and the tui parakeet. Here our guide will explain why the parrots gather every day in this mysterious place; this will be an amazing morning activity.
