Therapeutic use:

In Peru, San Pedro or Wachuma and Ayahuasca are used by masters shaman, who use it to cure patients' illnesses such as: alcoholism, depression, among others; just as they also use it to heal illnesses of the soul; indicating that the functions of a shaman are not restricted to physical ailments. The goal of the shaman in the retiring and healing ritual is to make the patient open his subconscious and flourish with the ceremonies, to better understand the things of life and live it with great harmony and clarity; all this thanks to the goodness of this healing plants. To participate in this incredible ceremony that can change your life, all you need is to lose your fear.

 

ANCESTRAL TECHNIQUES OR CEREMONIES:

 

For San Pedro or Wachuma and Ayahuasca ceremonies in Cusco, different techniques or ancestral ceremonies are used, which help make the ceremonies more effective; that at all times they have a professional staff specially prepared for these ceremonies (experienced translator and shaman). For San Pedro or Wachuma and Ayahuasca ceremonies, it is important to detect problems and know their status through the different techniques performed before and after the San Pedro or Wachuma and Ayahuasca ceremonies.

 

You can perform only the San Pedro (Wachuma) and Ayahuasca rituals, or also with all their ancestral techniques or ceremonies; you can also perform the techniques individually.

 

• Volcanic Water (Medicinal).- Purgative medicinal water from the subsoil composed of different minerals and substances that cure any type of discomfort, eliminating toxic excesses. It is recommended to take it before the San Pedro or Wachuma and Ayahuasca ceremonies (Only if necessary - a natural preparation is recommended).
• Coca leaf reading.- The coca leaf is an ancient source of wisdom. Through this plant you can see the past, understand the present and better project yourself into the future. It is made by a person who has the gift of reading, an expert who asks nature for permission to read through prayers in Quechua or Aymara. It is an important ceremony within the ritual of San Pedro or Wachuma and Ayahuasca.
• Energetic cleaning.- It is necessary to free the spirit and the soul; prepare internally and externally, purify our karma of negative energies. Put our being ready for the ceremony of San Pedro or Wachuma and Ayahuasca.
• Pachamama Ceremonies.- We ask Mother Earth to help us in spiritual and material matters through prayers so that life continues; just as we thank you for everything you have achieved and experienced so far. All this through a payment or ritual offering.
• Flowering baths.- Flower baths are an aid to protect yourself from bad elements, with this the mind will be revitalized and good vibes will be attracted. A flowering bath is a very special magical ritual, which is performed with flowers and other species, to obtain different objectives.

 

SAN PEDRO (WACHUMA) AND AYAHUASCA, 04 CEREMONIES - 07 DAYS:

 

• From: 7 a.m. a 4 p.m. (referential)
• Place: Center of ceremonies and rituals Cusco, or Sacsayhuaman Arqueological site area  
• 02 shot of San Pedro o Wachuma + 02 shot of Ayahuasca + Ceremonias Ancestrales (técnicas)

 

DAY 01 - SAN PEDRO OR WACHUMA: For the ritual of San Pedro or Wachuma, you will need to fast and drink only water. We will pick you up from your accommodation at 7:00 a.m. to then go to the center of ceremonies and rituals located one hour from the city of Cusco or to the area of the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Center, a quiet place with a high concentration of energy ideal for this type of ceremonies; After some time to settle in, we will begin with the Coca Leaves reading ceremony, we will continue with the Negative Energies Cleansing ceremony; After these two techniques, there will be a short time to relax and meditate. At 09:00 a.m. We will begin with the San Pedro or Wachuma ceremony; in which the Master Shaman will pray to ask permission from the sacred plant, invoking its guardian entities (spirit of the earth, mountains, snow-capped mountains, ancestors, etc.), and in this way be in balance with nature. We will drink the concoction and then we will meditate a little and we will begin to walk through this place full of energy and from time to time we will make stops to relax and meditate while our Master Shaman prays, whistles and makes songs of gratitude to Mother Earth (musical instruments, for guide the process of the participants). Then when the Master Shaman considers we will return to the city of Cusco (hotel) or to our retreat center to eat and rest (04:00 p.m. approx). 

 

After the ceremony, you can have a brief conversation with the Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret the visions. After this, a special diet will be eaten.

 

DAY 02 - SAN PEDRO OR WACHUMA: For this second day of San Pedro or Wachuma, you will need to fast and drink only water. We will pick you up from your accommodation at 7:00 a.m. or from the center of ceremonies and rituals located one hour from the city of Cusco, and then go to the area of the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Center, a quiet place with a high concentration of energy ideal for this type of ceremonies, this day we will choose a place different from the previous day; After some time to settle in, we will begin with the second San Pedro or Wachuma ceremony (08:00 a.m.); in which the Master Shaman will pray to ask permission from the sacred plant and invoking its guardian entities (spirit of the earth, mountains, snow-capped mountains, ancestors, etc.), and in this way be in balance with nature. We will drink the concoction and then we will meditate a little and we will begin to walk through this place full of energy and from time to time we will make stops to relax and meditate while our Shaman teacher prays, whistles and makes songs of gratitude to Mother Earth (musical instruments, for guide the process of the participants). Then when the Master Shaman considers we will return to the city of Cusco (hotel) or to our retreat center to eat and rest (04:00 p.m. approx).

DAY 03 - MEDITATION: This day will also begin at 7:00 a.m. The breakfast lunch and dinner will be organic (special diet); After this we will have a meeting with Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret his visions of the previous day; Then you will have free time to enjoy the place (meditation). Rest at the retreat and healing center.

 

DAY 04 - AYAHUASCA: In this fourth day we will perform the Ayahuasca Ceremony, you will need to fast and drink only water. We will pick you up from your accommodation at 6:00 p.m. or from the center of ceremonies and rituals in Cusco, a quiet place ideal for this type of ceremonies; After some time to settle in, there will be time to relax and meditate. At 7:00 p.m. we will begin with the Ayahuasca ceremony; in which the Master Shaman will pray to ask permission from nature and the sacred plant and thus be in balance. During the Ayahuasca Ceremony the Master Shaman will make songs (Icaros), play music, and smoke Mapacho (tobacco) to purify. During the Ceremony patients may experience dizziness, nausea, vomiting which are part of the Healing Ceremony. The Ayahuasca ceremony will conclude around midnight, and then the participants will rest.

 

After the ceremony, you can have a brief conversation with the Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret the visions. The conversation can be also the next morning.

 

DAY 05 - MEDITATION: This day will also begin at 7:00 a.m. The breakfast lunch and dinner will be organic (special diet); After this we will have a meeting with Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret his visions of the previous day; Then you will have free time to enjoy the place (meditation). Rest at the retreat and healing center.

 

DAY 06 - AYAHUASCA: In this sixth day we will perform the Ayahuasca Ceremony, you will need to fast and drink only water. We will pick you up from your accommodation at 6:00 p.m. or from the center of ceremonies and rituals in Cusco, a quiet place ideal for this type of ceremonies; After some time to settle in, there will be time to relax and meditate. At 7:00 p.m. we will begin with the Ayahuasca ceremony; in which the Master Shaman will pray to ask permission from nature and the sacred plant and thus be in balance. During the Ayahuasca Ceremony the Master Shaman will make songs (Icaros), play music, and smoke Mapacho (tobacco) to purify. DAY 07 - CEREMONIES: This day begins with an organic breakfast, and then continues with the Ceremony of thanks to Pachamama; to finally conclude the ceremony with a flower bath. After the ceremonies, you can have a brief conversation with the Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret the visions. After this, we will begin the return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 10:00 am.

Note:

• If the ceremony is only to drink San Pedro (Wachuma) and Ayahuasca, we ignore the techniques and the ceremony would only be San Pedro (Wachuma) and Ayahuasca ceremonies, in this case we pick you up from your accommodation at 07:30 a.m. the first day and return you to your accommodation the seventh day, at approximately 07:00 a.m.
• The Ayahuasca Ceremony itself ends around midnight, if you wish you can have the conversation with the shaman at that time and we could also take you back to your hotel, in this way the ceremony is six days.

 

RECOMMENDATIONS:

• You can perform the San Pedro (Wachuma) and Ayahuasca rituals with all its techniques or do the techniques individually.
• Maintain a meat-free diet (eat lots of fruit), avoid caffeinated drinks, do not consume medicated and non-medicated drugs.

DIET

 

The first step to face this experience is to be willing and perceptive that the teaching will come from another side. Teaching begins before the night of the ceremony and medicine continues indefinitely in time. The previous teaching begins with the changes in eating habits (it is better to stick to the guidelines if you want to avoid a bad time with the plant in the ceremony). The common goal of the diet is to purify your body and that the physical shock of taking Ayahuasca is not so stormy. The concoction purges and cleanses you, so the more contaminated your body is, the more it will feel the jolt of the purge.

 

The diet is basically the following: do not eat red meat and the last two days it is suggested to avoid the intake of derivatives of any animal, do not eat processed foods, or irritants such as spicy or coffee, no alcohol, no recreational or pharmaceutical drugs, no dairy , no sex, rest the three days before the ceremony and maintain the diet the three days after for best results.
